This was the very first litter of dachshunds to  be born at
The Dachshund Ranch. A litter of reds born to Dutchy and Titus.  Ruby is the pup on the far left.  She is in additional
photos on the Favorites pages.

This is Ruby with frog number #3003!  Ruby loves
frogs!  She is shown above in the litter of four red
pups.  Ruby is loved by Dorine and Gene Hunt and
Miss Jackie Brown who also found her way to be
loved by the Hunts through the The Dachshund Ranch.

Tula Kaumeier, in her most famous of dachshund
poses, just taking it easy.  It's so tough being loved
      and adored!

This is a serious armadillo hunt!  Shown in the photo
are hunters Yogi (cream), Rajah (black/tan),
Praline (smooth red) and Dee Dee with only her tail-
end visible; the rest of her body is down in the
armadillo hole.  They ferociously perused this invader
for hours finally dragging it out by it's tail.  It was then
taken from them to a safe place.

This is my son, Cody, with one the first of the original
three dachshunds that we started out with years ago named Piper and who is now well retired.  She is a grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother to many of the dachshunds that we have today.  A perfect dachshund to start a line of perfect companions! (2004)

This is Picasso, affectionately called Pigasso by his very
own human toddler, "protecting" the Miller family of
Oviedo.  He was awaiting Santa's visit but somehow
   missed him...hmmm?

Bruizer overseeing the handling of a little friend.
He is loved by Michelle and Matt of Orlando.

This photo makes you go "awww poor baby!"
Berries just had to find out what those fire ants
were hiding down in their mound.   Well...she
found out!  It took two human doses of Benedryl
and twelve hours of recovery for all the swelling to
             go down.
